Moments that Matter are the everyday firsts that parents experience with their little ones. Not just the eagerly anticipated developmental milestones, but also those small achievements that thread through your journey together, creating a lasting legacy of shared family moments. But, what if one of the parents misses those moments? Changes happen so frequently within the first 12 months and we know that often it’s dad who will have returned to work and will miss the majority of their child’s ‘firsts’.That’s why, for Moments That Matter, we have partnered with Dadvengers. Founded by Nigel Clarke, its mission is to provide support, education and create positive fatherhood experiences for families. Together, we uncover experiences and truths from dads in their network and took the conversation to couples too. How did they share the moments that dad missed? How did dad feel about missing the moments? And what were the firsts that dad treasured the most?Nigel spoke with three couples so that we can share the insights with our followers, because behind every door, there is a shared journey and we hope that by sharing these couples’ experiences, the highs and the lows, it can help other parents make the most of the first moments, on their family’s journey together.
